From the very first day, İDDEF has stood by the Syrian people with the support of generous donors, accelerating its emergency aid efforts to deliver essential supplies. With teams on the ground, İDDEF continues to deliver vital aid, focusing on food and other necessities.

With the fall of the Assad regime and the region’s liberation from terrorism, many Syrians have returned to their homes, taking a breath of relief. However, they face urgent needs for food, clothing, and shelter. In response, we have begun delivering flour, bread, blankets, and baby formula with the help of our generous donors.

İDDEF teams continue their relentless efforts, day and night, to assist the oppressed and needy people of Syria. Bread distributions are underway in Aleppo and Hama.

When Did We Start Aid Operations in Syria?

Our support for Syrian refugees began on March 15, 2011, when the civil war erupted. In the early days, we provided assistance to refugees at camps near the Reyhanlı border. Later, our efforts extended to camps reaching Idlib, where we built brick homes, mosques, masjids, soup kitchens, and bakeries. We also distributed food packages and baby formula, and these aid efforts have continued to this day.
