The Federation of Associations that Value Humanity (IDDEF) never leaves oppressed hearts alone, striving to ease—if only a little—the tears echoing across oppressed lands and to lighten the pain that weighs heavily on souls. By delivering essential life-saving supplies such as food parcels, hot meals, clothing, heating fuel, cash assistance, and medicine, IDDEF shoulders the burden of the oppressed and the afflicted. You too can support—be the Voice of the Oppressed!

IDDEF intensifies its efforts throughout the year, responding to the cries of the oppressed in regions where living conditions have deteriorated due to many factors.
Under the slogan “Be the Voice of the Oppressed,” IDDEF carries out emergency aid operations to meet the needs of people in Gaza under genocide and attack; war-torn Syria; Yemen, facing the world’s largest hunger crisis; Sudan, under the shadow of attacks and conflict; Afghanistan, struggling to heal the wounds of occupation; Bangladesh, enduring difficult days after devastating fires; Indonesia, working to recover from floods; and tens of thousands of Syrian families fighting for survival in tent camps in the Arsal region of Lebanon.
IDDEF aims to ease the lives of those in hardship by delivering essential humanitarian assistance.
Since October 7, 2023, occupying Israel has carried out genocidal attacks on Gaza by air and land. Tens of thousands of people—mostly women and children—have lost their lives, while hundreds of thousands have been injured. Targeting civilian areas, schools, and hospitals alike, Israel has bombed nearly everything. With the ceasefire, a new phase has begun in Gaza. From day one, IDDEF has worked to heal wounds and has now taken a major step toward humanitarian aid, reconstruction, and recovery.
Daily and weekly activities continue without interruption. Two or three trucks are dispatched weekly to Gaza via the Rafah Border Crossing. Daily distributions include two water tankers delivering 25,000 liters of water, hot meals for 1,200 people, 500 packages of bread, rice meals for 1,000 people, and canned meat. Weekly, 3,000 food parcels are distributed, tailored to needs and including fresh produce and hygiene kits. Three ambulances and two water facilities are in service, while tents and winter supplies are also provided.

In Sudan, thousands of civilians have lost their lives amid conflict, while millions struggle with hunger, thirst, and disease. Massacres in El Fasher and surrounding areas have plunged civilians into a severe humanitarian crisis.
As IDDEF, we deliver emergency food, water, medicine, and shelter assistance to our oppressed brothers and sisters in Sudan who are bearing the heaviest impact of war. Now is the time for solidarity. We do not remain silent in the face of this human tragedy and continue working with all our strength to stand by our brothers and sisters through our winter campaign under the slogan “Be the Voice of the Oppressed.”
After years of civil war since 2011—one of the greatest humanitarian tragedies in history—a new phase has begun in Syria. With the collapse of the regime in December 2024, Syrians who returned home and those who remained finally breathed a sigh of relief. From day one, IDDEF has stood by war-affected families, providing food parcels, heating fuel, flour, bread, blankets, and baby food to families living in 620 briquette homes built in Idlib, tents, and makeshift shelters.
Within the “Be the Voice of the Oppressed” project, IDDEF continues daily hot bread distributions in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs, Hama, and Afrin, accelerating aid efforts—especially in Aleppo, where civilians face immense hardship. IDDEF also supports the “Idlib 100,000 Briquette Homes” campaign coordinated with AFAD, building shelters, mosques, and deep water wells.
IDDEF continues uninterrupted emergency aid operations in Yemen, where the world’s largest humanitarian crisis persists due to civil war. With donor support, IDDEF provides food aid consisting of rice, cooking oil, flour, and sugar, as well as sacrificial meat and blankets to war-affected families.
In Yemen—where poverty and deprivation are extreme—150,000 people have lost their lives due to war, 17 million lack access to safe food, and 2 million children suffer from severe malnutrition. Yemeni families now brace for harsh winter conditions.

In Afghanistan—devastated for years by occupation—successive earthquakes and floods have compounded the humanitarian crisis. IDDEF supports recovery through water wells, madrasas, masjids, and mosques, along with emergency aid, easing hardships during cold winter days.
With generosity from donors, IDDEF sends “trains of goodness” from Türkiye to Afghanistan, standing as the voice of the oppressed. As a deep economic crisis worsens conditions, the Afghan people await support from the world.
In a country of 40 million, nearly 18 million people struggle to access safe food.

IDDEF conducts emergency aid operations in Lebanon following attacks that began after Gaza. Hot meals and ready-to-eat food parcels are distributed to displaced families in shelters, while tents, blankets, and heating projects are implemented ahead of winter.
IDDEF also supports Syrian refugee families who fled the war into Lebanon, delivering food, blankets, beds, and heating fuel to approximately 70,000 families living in harsh winter conditions in tent camps in Arsal.
Families in unprotected nylon tents face freezing cold with fear, and snowfall makes life nearly unbearable.

Following a major fire disaster in a neighborhood of Dhaka where around 8,000 impoverished people live, we continue emergency aid operations. In areas where thousands were left homeless and more than 1,500 shelters and structures were destroyed or rendered unusable, we can heal wounds together.
With our teams on the ground, IDDEF delivers emergency aid, food, hot meals, blankets, tents, and shelter support—offering hope to families affected by the fire.
We launched emergency aid operations for our brothers and sisters affected by floods and landslides caused by heavy rainfall on Indonesia’s Sumatra Island. Hundreds have lost their lives, and tens of thousands have been affected.
As thousands of homes and buildings were submerged and infrastructure severely damaged, IDDEF field teams work tirelessly to deliver emergency food, hot meals, clean water, blankets, tents, shelter support, and essential supplies.
