We Distribute Your Zakat To Needy People And Students In Oppressed Areas

We deliver your Zakat donations to our oppressed and victimised brothers and sisters every day of the year, especially during Ramadan. We also deliver your zakat donations to the Gaza Strip, which is being blockaded and bombarded from all sides, including air, land, and sea, by the occupying Israel.

Giving Zakat to students who have completed the course is especially important. Almost all of our recipients come from low-income families, and every helping hand makes a difference in their lives, no matter how small.

Zakat is one of Islam's Five Pillars, an almsgiving or charitable giving highly valued in Islam. It is mandatory for all qualified Muslims who satisfy certain conditions to donate a percentage of their money to those in need. Zakat is supposed to purify one's wealth while ensuring the community's economic well-being.

You may help our brothers and sisters pursue science education with your zakat gifts. You may contribute to the education of future scholars and spread Islam's beauty in this way.

For Believers, Zakat is Good News

Zakat, mentioned in numerous verses of our holy book, the Holy Quran, is good news for Muslims. In Surah Baqara, verse 277, Allah Almighty says, "Indeed, those who believe, do good, establish prayer, and pay alms-tax will receive their reward from their Lord, and there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve."

Who is not eligible for receiving Zakat?

The question has always been asked. The Holy Quran specifies who is eligible to receive zakat fitrah: "Alms-tax is only for the poor and the needy, for those employed to administer it, for those whose hearts are attracted (to the faith), for (freeing) slaves, for those in debt, for Allah's cause, and for (needy) travellers. (This is) an obligation from Allah. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise." (Surah at-Tawbah, verse 60)

Feelings of Unity and Hope Emerge

While Zakat aims to maintain social harmony among Muslims, the importance of Zakat strengthens religious brotherhood. The best answer to why Zakat is given is that the giver's wealth increases and the recipient's life improves, creating a sense of unity and hope among Muslims. One of the five pillars of Islam is giving Zakat or financial assistance; Zakat to the impoverished is essentially the rich people's right to their property.

To Whom is Zakat Mandatory?

Every year, people who have attained a certain level of wealth pay Zakat, which is one-fourth of their remaining wealth, as an obligatory act of worship. As a result, certain wealth standards for specific goods are determined, which is known as Nisab. In addition to his natural needs, a Muslim who possesses 80 grams of gold or goods and money worth this amount has attained the nisab level. If one year has passed since this material value and his property has stayed above the nisab, he pays Zakat by calculating one-fifth of all his surplus property. A free and intelligent Muslim who has reached puberty pays Zakat equal to one-quarter (1/40) of his wealth. The fact that Zakat can be delivered to poor people through cash and food answers how Zakat is given.
