Nepal Flood Emergency Relief

The devastating floods that struck Nepal’s Rasuwa region and surrounding areas have profoundly affected the lives of thousands of people. Hundreds of people have lost their lives in areas swept away by floodwaters, while thousands remain missing. Collapsed bridges, damaged roads, and increasingly difficult transportation conditions are hampering search and rescue operations and humanitarian relief efforts.

Families who have lost their homes, businesses, and livelihoods in the disaster are struggling to access food, clean water, shelter, and other basic necessities. The death toll has reportedly risen to 903, while the total number of missing people has reached 4,247. 

As the Federation of Associations That Value Humanity (IDDEF), we have launched emergency relief efforts for those affected by the floods in Nepal as part of our humanitarian responsibility.
