Nearly half of the world's population suffers from hunger, thirst, and shelter in need as a result of wars, natural disasters, and historical slavery. Through general donations to the oppressed and victimised Ummah geographies worldwide, we as IDDEF are striving to alleviate this need, at least partially.

Donations such as zakat, general donations, and fitra, which are particularly widespread in Islamic society, not only enable Muslim communities to fulfil their obligations but also provide hope to millions of people in need around the world.

What Should Be Considered When Making A General Donation?

In addition to the importance of carrying out good deeds, it is crucial to consider the outcome of these good deeds. Ensuring that donations are made to reputable organisations and arrive at their intended location is one of the factors that should be taken into account when making a donation.

Furthermore, determining the regions and areas in urgent need before making a donation is one of the factors that increases the value of the donation. Otherwise, donations accumulate in one region and area while the needs of other regions and areas go unmet.

Where Is General Donation Used?

A general donation is a type of donation that allows organisations that provide donations a lot of flexibility in terms of transferring donations to the areas where they are most desperately needed. The organisation uses a general donation to concentrate on urgent areas because the donor grants the organisation permission to use the donation in any field.
