IDDEF Took Action For Earthquake Region

IDDEF launched relief support and efforts for the affected victims by the earthquake disaster that occurred in 10 provinces, especially in Kahramanmaraş.

As Turkey, we are living through one of our most painful days. This is the day when 85 millions people unite in one heart, one wrist. Together, we will heal the wounds of affected victims from the huge natural disaster.

The Federation of Associations that Value Humans (IDDEF), from the massive 7.7 magnitude earthquake that took place in the Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş and its regions such as Hatay, Gaziantep, Kilis, Osmaniye, Malatya, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Şanlıurfa and Adana, established the scope of emergency aid needs. Starting with water distribution, soups and fruits. Items that urgently needed by victims in earthquake zones are gloves, coats, boots, hats, coats, warm clothes, catalytic stoves, tubes, beds, blankets, powerbanks, food boxes (cans), diapers, baby foods and clean hygiene kits. Our teams, who were dispatched to the region, are participating in search and rescue efforts.

In the statement made by IDDEF, “The casualties from the 7.7- magnitude earthquake that occurred in 10 cities, especially in Kahramanmaraş, has deeply saddened all of us. While we are experiencing one of our most painful days in Turkey, we will mobilize all our means to heal the wounds of those who were affected from this big natural disaster. In this context, we take action for our brothers and sisters with whom we share our pain, by providing foods, blankets, clothes and provisions to the earthquake region with the help coordination of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD). In these times when we need unity and solidarity the most; As always, we stand for our people with the responsibility given through our values of brotherhood, solidarity and cooperation. We intensify our efforts to heal the wounds of earthquake victims that suffocated all of us. We wish Allah's mercy on those who lost their lives from the earthquake, our condolences and patience for their relatives, and wishing speedy recovery to the injured victims. We ask Allah to protect our country from all kinds of calamities and troubles.
