Fuel For Gaza

Due to the heavy attacks and embargo imposed by occupying Israel, fuel is in short supply and is required to power hospitals, telecommunication companies, health centres, homes, and generators used to extract water from wells. We, as IDDEF, provide fuel assistance to the region by assisting in the resolution of this critical issue. We are on high alert to ensure that the fuel needed to operate all three ambulances in Gaza reaches us.

When Israel blocked the entry of fuel into the Gaza Strip, many hospitals were unable to continue operating due to a lack of electricity, ambulances were rendered inoperable, and doctors performed surgical procedures using mobile phone lights. The only power plant in the region stopped producing electricity due to a lack of fuel during the first week of the conflict in Gaza.
