After the earthquake in Morocco, news of a disaster came from Libya! As the International Federation of Associations That Value Humanity (IDDEF), we took action to provide emergency relief in areas affected by Hurricane Daniel's flooding, which was effective in the North African country of Libya. Support us and help us heal the wounds of our Libyan brothers and sisters, who are pleading for international support.
IDDEF extends its heartfelt condolences to the welcoming and brotherly Libyan people. May God have mercy on those who lost their lives and speedy recovery for the injured, and we stand by our Libyan brothers and sisters who have become victims of the natural disaster. First and foremost, we launched an emergency flood relief campaign to meet the needs of humanitarian aid by providing water, food, and shelter. Donors who want to contribute to our flood-affected brothers and sisters in the country by delivering emergency aid such as food, hot meals, blankets, and tents can do so through this page.
Over 3,000 people have been reported dead, with more than 10,000 people missing as a result of the flood caused by the hurricane that hit Libya. While the Daniel storm, which was active in the Central Mediterranean, affected the Libyan cities of Benghazi, Beyda, Marj, Suse, and Derna, we continue our humanitarian aid efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Libyan people, who have requested international assistance and declared three days of mourning.
Our donors who want to provide emergency flood relief to Libyan people in need can donate on this page, via FAST, EFT using SWIFT code, or International Money Transfer to the relevant account numbers, or by calling our call centre at +90 212 621 0065 for more information. You can also Text EMERGENCY HELP to 7230 to donate 20 TL.
