IDDEF closely monitors its ongoing activities in Afghanistan, where it builds mosques and madrasas alongside its education and humanitarian aid efforts. IDDEF officials, who frequently visit Afghanistan where all activities are carried out according to a certain plan and program, meet with Afghan people. In this context, the IDDEF delegation visiting Afghanistan inspected the activities in the capital Kabul and Wardak province, conducting a series of visits and meetings.
After the groundbreaking ceremony, the IDDEF delegation held consultations with Afghanistan's Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani regarding IDDEF's services in Afghanistan and the general condition of Muslims. The IDDEF delegation also visited the Molla Umar and Mahmud Ustaosmanoğlu Mosques and the Seyyid-ul mursalin Madrasa, built with the architecture of Kubbetu’s Sahra Mosque, at the top of the Vezir Ekber Han hill, the highest peak in Kabul. During the visit, they had discussions with scholars and students, and met with Mawlawi Abdulbaqi, former Minister of Higher Education of Afghanistan, to discuss the current state of education in Afghanistan.
IDDEF officials and scholars, who contribute significantly to the reconstruction and revitalization efforts throughout Afghanistan, visited the Mahmud Ustaosmanoğlu Complex in Wardak, the Logar Mosque, and the Halifa Din Muhammed Hazrat complex.
IDDEF, which stands by Afghanistan, aiming for rapid recovery and stability in all fields from education to the economy, continues its humanitarian aid, education, and permanent works with the support of benefactors from Turkey.
