The Federation of Associations that Value Humanity (IDDEF) conducted its 2024 international udhiya qurban campaign. They performed the qurban in accordance with Islamic principles in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Balkans, distributing the meat to 3,544,000 poor individuals in 47 countries and 309 regions.
With 15 years of experience and trust, IDDEF carried out the qurban directly in the countries with its teams and local representatives without involving any intermediary organizations. They ensured that the qurban were performed according to Islamic rules and regulations. Specifically, for Gaza, which experienced the most challenging Eid al-Adha in its history, IDDEF will deliver 100,000 canned meats prepared from 2,100 shares of large cattle sacrificed in India.
IDDEF’s qurban operations included not only Gaza but also refugee camps, areas suffering from drought and famine, remote regions, and war zones in countries such as Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria. The qurban donations were delivered to the genuine needy in these oppressed and troubled regions.
After the Eid prayer, IDDEF teams and local representatives began the qurban by reading out the names of the donors and performing the qurban according to Islamic principles. The qurban were recorded on video and distributed to the previously identified poor families. After completing the slaughter and distribution during Eid al-Adha, IDDEF sent informational messages to the donors, informing them of the countries and regions where their qurban were performed.
Additionally, during the qurban operations, IDDEF teams visited remote villages, madrasas, and orphanages in the countries they went to, gifting eid clothing, toys, balloons, and candies to students, bringing the joy of the eid to life.
