Following the fall of the 61-year Baath regime, we are delivering humanitarian aid to Syrians returning to their homeland and to those in need within the country. As part of the Syria Emergency Aid campaign, we have brought a mobile soup kitchen to Turkey's Cilvegözü Border Gate in Reyhanlı, offering soup, breakfast, and hot meals.
During the civil war, Syrians who sought refuge in Turkey are now returning to their homeland with hope and excitement. Since 2011, we have stood by our brothers and sisters, once again demonstrating Turkey’s and the Turkish people’s generosity.
Our field teams continue to serve Syrian families and local officials throughout the day, providing food and assistance.
Meanwhile, we are also carrying out emergency aid efforts in regions such as Aleppo, Hama, Homs, Latakia, and Syria's capital, Damascus, by distributing hot meals and bread.
In Syria, we work both with local teams and by sending research teams to assess and evaluate the areas reclaimed from the regime.
Since the civil war began in 2011, we have been providing humanitarian aid, social services, and both in-kind and cash assistance to Syria. Along the Turkey-Syria border, we have implemented projects such as the construction of brick houses, deep water wells, madrasas, and mosques.
As public order is quickly restored and life begins to normalize, we are assessing the educational needs and planning to build complexes, mosques, madrasas, and educational centers to support the region’s recovery.
Philanthropists can support the project, which meets the needs of our brothers and sister in Gaza such as foods, clothes, medicines etc. through the “www.iddef.org/en” donation page.
