With the joint efforts of the state and the nation, under the auspices of our Presidency and in coordination with the Ministry of Interior AFAD, IDDEF supports the campaign “We Are Together, We Stand with Idlib” launched with the goal of “100,000 Brick Houses for Idlib,” by building new brick houses. You too can “Build a Roof of Goodness” by lending a helping hand to our war-affected brothers and sisters struggling to survive under harsh conditions—placing a brick in the wall, or a tile on the roof.

Life Will Normalize, Voluntary and Safe Returns Will Happen

Within the scope of the “We Are Together, We Stand with Idlib” campaign, it is aimed to ensure the voluntary, safe, and dignified return of Syrian citizens who have long been refugees in our country. With the support of donors, IDDEF has already built 2,390 brick houses as part of this campaign and aims to support this return process by “Building a Roof of Goodness.” Brick houses will ease the integration of war-affected families into society, while alongside basic housing, health centers, large water resources, and infrastructure services will create the foundations of a small city life.

Number of IDDEF Homes Will Reach 3,000

While the war in Syria continues to leave deep wounds, IDDEF sustains its food and shelter assistance for oppressed families. Within the brick house campaign launched to provide more humane living conditions for families who fled to rural areas near the Turkish border due to heavy bombardments, IDDEF has already completed 610 brick houses and delivered them to war-affected families. Now, under the leadership of AFAD and with the support of donors, IDDEF aims to increase this number to 3,000 brick homes.

The price of one brick apartment is $2,500. IDDEF directly oversees the implementation stages of this permanent housing project and ensures the completion of the homes within the project scope. 

Syrian families will finally be saved from tents and muddy roads, reaching their long-awaited dream of beautiful, livable homes. 

Efforts continue so that the difficult tent life of refugee families in muddy camps will come to an end.

Brick Houses Will Become Warm Homes

Due to the harsh winter conditions and worsening humanitarian crisis in Northern Syria, İDDEF launched the “Syria Life Project,” continuing food and shelter aid. With the support of donors, İDDEF builds permanent brick houses for oppressed Idlib families living in cold, muddy camps—saying “Goodness Warms” and ensuring civilians are protected from freezing weather, rain, and mud. You can fully sponsor one brick house, join with friends or relatives to build one together, or contribute any amount you are able.

Let’s Warm Innocent Faces with Goodness

Brick houses built for oppressed families displaced from Idlib due to bombings include blankets, mattresses, fuel, and food packages to ease their suffering. In rural areas where access to clean water is a major issue, 500-liter water tanks are placed next to the houses. In addition to housing, aid such as blankets, coats, sweaters, mattresses, fuel, flour, food parcels, and hygiene kits are delivered. Let us all together warm the hearts of Syrian families shivering in the cold.

IDDEF continues humanitarian efforts in Idlib, where a new life is emerging and normalcy is returning, focusing on shelter, education, and beyond. In the 610 brick houses IDDEF has built, families now live happier lives, leaving behind the pain of war.

Alongside the brick houses, IDDEF has built the 1,000-person İsmailağa Mosque and an education center, working for normalization of life and the well-being of the people.

IDDEF Has Been in the Region Since 2011

Since the events began in 2011, IDDEF has continuously been present in the region, delivering donor aid to Muslims struggling to survive under difficult conditions. Through humanitarian aid efforts in Syria, IDDEF provides flour, food parcels, blankets, mattresses, clothing, winter fuel, hygiene kits, and children’s packages.
