BURKİNA FASO WC VE ŞADIRVAN PROJESİ

In the West African country of Burkina Faso, where IDDEF has been providing services since 2011 ranging from education and humanitarian aid to development and permanent works, the toilet and ablution fountain project brings a vital solution to an important need. You too can support this project to meet the cleanliness and ablution needs of students in our madrasas.

Bringing Cleanliness and Comfort to Our Brothers’ Lives

The Federation of Associations that Value Humanity (IDDEF), with the support of its donors, continues to bring hope to the people of Burkina Faso through education, humanitarian aid, and development projects. With 30 Model Village projects, IDDEF has provided villages with access to electricity and water while enabling local production. Today, IDDEF serves Burkina Faso with 47 teachers, 3,120 students, 23 madrasas, 26 deep borehole water wells, 2 orphanages, and 16 mosques, producing services for the revival of the next generation. Through year-round on-site staff and visiting teams, IDDEF identifies local needs and, with the WC and Ablution Fountain Project, will provide great convenience to our brothers and sisters.

Water Wells Facilitate the Project

IDDEF, implementing projects necessary for human dignity, etiquette, and cleanliness, aims to build toilets and ablution fountains next to madrasas, which were missing in the area. In line with Islamic education traditions, properly planned ablution fountains will ensure that the limited amount of clean water is distributed without waste to the students. This will solve a major issue by providing a place where students can meet their cleanliness needs before their religious lessons and daily prayers, thus bringing ease to their lives.

In the first phase, with identified needs, 10 toilets and 6 ablution fountains will be built next to 5 mosques and 1 madrasa.
