IDDEF Shared the Joy of Qurban with 2.4 Million People in Need
IDDEF delivered 61,722 Qurban shares, entrusted by generous donors, to 2,413,000 people in need across 56 countries. Cattle sacrificed for Gaza will be delivered to the region as 73,500 cans of Qurban meat.

As part of its 2026 international obligatory Qurban campaign, carried out under the slogan “Share Your Qurban”, the Federation of Associations that Value Humanity (IDDEF) performed 61,722 Qurban shares across 56 countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Balkans, delivering Qurban meat to 2,413,000 people in genuine need.

Following the completion of the sacrifices in accordance with Islamic principles and with great care, the meat was distributed directly to those in need. IDDEF also completed the slaughter of cattle donated for Gaza and will deliver a total of 73,500 cans of 800-gram canned Qurban meat to families in the region.

Qurban distributions were carried out in crisis-affected regions, including Gaza, Afghanistan, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Lebanon, and Syria, reaching families struggling with war, drought, famine, and poverty. The distributions took place in refugee camps, madrasas, orphanages, and some of the most remote communities.

IDDEF documented every stage of the campaign, from the selection of the animals to the slaughter and distribution process. Once the distributions were completed, donors received SMS notifications informing them of the country and region where their Qurban had been performed.

During the Qurban campaign, IDDEF teams also visited villages, madrasas, and orphanages, spending time with children and sharing the joy of Eid. Eid clothing, toys, balloons, and various gifts were distributed, making the celebration even more meaningful for the children.
