IDDEF Delivered Aid to Millions of People During Ramadan

IDDEF carried out its 2024 Ramadan aid activities, delivering the donations of thousands of benefactors to millions of impoverished families. IDDEF distributed food packages, zakat, fitra, fidya, iftar, and Eid clothing donations from Turkey and 56 countries across 310 regions in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Balkans to real beneficiaries and students receiving education.

Concluding this year's Ramadan efforts under the theme "Ramadan for Gaza and all oppressed regions," IDDEF delivered the entrusted items of benefactors to those in distress and oppressed areas. Throughout the month of Ramadan, IDDEF provided iftar and sahur meals to a total of 794,258 people, including 300,000 in Gaza, as well as distributed aid to 62,350 families, including 24,000 in Gaza, consisting of food packages, Eid clothing for 32,120 families, and zakat, fitrah, and fidya for 56,244 families, all directly reaching the recipients.

IDDEF, by sharing the blessings of Ramadan and spreading the spirit of solidarity and assistance, facilitated the strengthening of brotherhood by delivering benefactors' donations to those suffering from the most difficult Ramadan in history, such as the Palestinians facing bombardments and genocide in Gaza, as well as those struggling with internal conflicts, drought, and poverty in Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, and many other countries. Additionally, IDDEF provided iftar and sahur meals and distributed aid to disaster-stricken families in earthquake-affected areas with a mobile kitchen during the 6th of February Disaster.

Throughout Ramadan, IDDEF also opened 101 water wells in Africa and Asia, providing clean water to thousands of people. Furthermore, they presented 18,296 copies of the Quran as gifts to impoverished students and families receiving free education in Africa and Asia, and provided Eid clothing to orphaned, fatherless, and needy children, bringing the joy of the holiday to their lives.
