Within the scope of the “Sudan Emergency Relief” campaign launched by IDDEF for Sudan, which is suffering under a severe humanitarian crisis caused by ongoing clashes, food parcels, clean water, hygiene products, and various first aid supplies were delivered to the region and distributed to those in need.

The clashes, especially concentrated in and around El Fasher, continue to have devastating effects on civilians. In this region where thousands have lost their lives, millions are struggling with hunger, thirst, and infectious diseases. It is reported that among the approximately 260,000 people living in this area, more than half are children, and at least 6,000 of them are at risk of acute malnutrition.
In this critical period, IDDEF mobilized quickly and, with the support of donors, delivered food packages, clean water, hygiene materials, and emergency aid supplies to Sudan, bringing hope to civilians in the region. While hot meal distributions continue, IDDEF emphasized that humanitarian aid efforts in conflict-affected areas will persist with determination based on growing needs.

In its statement, IDDEF drew attention to the difficult conditions faced by the Sudanese people and issued the following call:
“The ongoing conflict in Sudan affects women, children, and the elderly the most. Hunger, thirst, and disease risks continue to rise every day. With the support of our donors, we are continuing our efforts on the ground. We need the support of our brothers and sisters to reach more families.”
