Earthquake Relief In Morocco

As the International Federation of Associations that Value Humanity (IDDEF), we took action to provide emergency relief in the areas affected by the 7.0-magnitude earthquake in Morocco. We Supply Food, Drink, And Shelter

IDDEF launched an earthquake relief campaign for our Moroccan brothers and sisters who are unable to obtain basic necessities such as water, food, and shelter as a result of the earthquake disaster. Donors who want to help earthquake victims by providing food, hot meals, medicine, blankets, and tents can do so through our website or by calling our call centre at +90 212 621 0065.

The Earthquake's Aftermath Is Rising 

More than 2,000 people were killed and 3,000 were injured in the earthquake that struck the neighbouring country of Morocco at 23:17 Moroccan local time on the night of Friday and Saturday (09-09-2023). The epicentre of the earthquake, which occurred at a depth of 8 kilometres, was said to be in the El-Huz region of Marrakech in the country's north, with casualties in the cities of Marrakech, Azilal, Agadir, Varzazat, and Chichaoua. While it was stated that the earthquake primarily affected mountainous and rural areas, it was also reported that many earthquake regions were difficult to access due to damaged roads.

While our teams continue their investigations in earthquake zones and provide assistance to our earthquake-affected brothers and sisters, their aid efforts continue unabated.
