1,000 Days of Suffering in Gaza: IDDEF Remains on the Ground Every Day

The humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, under occupation, genocide, and continuous attacks, has now entered its 1,000th day. Over these one thousand days, tens of thousands of innocent people have lost their lives, while millions of Palestinians continue to struggle with hunger, thirst, displacement, and devastating humanitarian conditions. As the occupation, blockade, and violations of fundamental human rights continue, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza grows more severe with each passing day.

Since October 7, 2023, the Federation of Associations that Value Humanity (IDDEF) has continued its humanitarian relief efforts in Gaza without interruption, standing alongside the oppressed Palestinian people. Through its field teams, IDDEF continues to provide hot meals, fresh bread, clean drinking water, food parcels, canned food, fresh fruits and vegetables, clothing, and cash assistance to families in need.

Meanwhile, the destruction of Gaza's infrastructure has made access to clean water increasingly difficult. Through the clean water tankers delivered by IDDEF, thousands of families receive safe drinking water every day. Water distributions carried out in displacement camps and residential areas remain a lifeline for families struggling to survive.

In a statement, IDDEF said: "For 1,000 days, our brothers and sisters in Gaza have continued to endure immense suffering. We pray that Allah grants mercy to those who have lost their lives, swift healing to the injured, and patience and strength to all those who continue to endure oppression. Until the occupation and blockade come to an end, we will continue to stand with our brothers and sisters in Gaza and carry on our humanitarian relief efforts with determination."
