Since October 7, we have been carrying out an emergency relief mobilization with our teams across all regions, from the north to the south of the Gaza Strip. As part of these efforts, we sent two more trucks loaded with food supplies to the region via Jordan, ensuring that essential humanitarian aid reaches the southern areas.
We strive to meet the most critical needs of Palestinian families who have been subjected to genocide by the occupying Israeli forces and condemned to hunger and thirst by being deprived of basic necessities. With the support of generous donors, we continue our intensive efforts and have sent two truckloads of aid containing basic food supplies to Gaza. The trucks entered the southern region of Gaza safely through Jordan and were delivered to our field teams for distribution to Palestinian families. In a statement made by IDDEF officials, the following remarks were included:
“The massacre taking place in Gaza and Israel’s use of hunger and thirst as weapons are seriously escalating the humanitarian crisis. Access to electricity, water, and basic necessities is facing severe challenges. Standing by the oppressed and giving them hope is our primary duty.
We have tried to meet one of the most urgent needs—shelter—by delivering 1,500 tents to the southern region. In addition, we are also working to provide vital necessities such as food and water. Our active teams in the region are distributing food packages and continuing preparations for hot meals. Our support will continue to ease the lives of our brothers and sisters, even if only a little.”
Philanthropists can support the project, which meets the needs of our brothers and sister in Gaza such as foods, clothes, medicines etc. through the “www.iddef.org/en” donation page.
