NUMBERS 500 THOUSAND
At the beginning of the events, the number of Muslims in the refugee camps of Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh crossing the Nef river exceeded 500. BANGLADESH INVESTIGATION BECOMES A PERMANENT SOLUTION
Stating that emergency food aid is not a permanent solution, İDDEF Chief Executive Mehmet Turan said that they had consulted with Bangladesh Interior Minister Asaduzzaman Khan for permanent solutions. Underlining that 250,000 children who took refuge in Bangladesh were deprived of education and were targeted by extremist groups, Turan said they would develop a training-focused, permanent solution for Arakanese Muslims in Bangladesh.
1000 KNOWLEDGE TO KEEP A TENT CITY
Rohingya Muslims who have been living under pressure and violence for 250 years have been slaughtered many times in different dates, abandoned their homes and their lands and stayed in neighboring countries like Bangladesh and Pakistan.
The IDDEF, which delivered aid to the region for the last one month of the events that had flared up again, decided to build a tent city for 1000 families in the first stage of the negotiations with the authorities.
There is a mosque, four mosques, one hundred and twenty five water wells, two hundred fifty toilets and baths, two hundred fifty toilets and baths, a health center, a soup kitchen, and supplies for the education of children in a tent city built for 1000 households where electricity needs will be provided by solar energy. there will be a warehouse to be kept.
Representatives of the associations who expressed their work in the 33 countries where they were working, said that Islamic training would be provided on the line of Ahl-i Sunnah in the female and male medres in the tent city. In the second stage, the tent city project, which will be held at the capacity of ten thousand families, is being carried out together with Cemiyetu'l Ulama, one of the most influential non-governmental organizations in Bangladesh.
