Having started its operations in 2015, the IDDEF is expanding its field of activity in Nigeria.

We unveiled a 30-person capacity boarding school, which will give 4-year Arabic and Islamic Education in Kano, Nigeria, with the participation of Muhammad Senusi II, religious prominents, students, their families and local people. Named after Sheikh Aliyyul Havvas, madrasa building consists of 6 classrooms, one dormitory, 145 m2-sized conference hall and one masjid.

Graduates of this madrasa will be appointed as Imams in their own villages and towns. Thus it will help protect Islam’s existence in the region against missionary activities.

Additionally, a library for the use of our Instructors and students is to be built within the madrasa in the forthcoming days.

Mass Circumcision Ceremony

After inauguration ceremonies, aid workers from the IDDEF offered free circumcisions to 50 boys of needy families.
