IDDEF to Deliver Qurban Meat to Gaza in Canned Form

As part of its 2026 Udhiya / Qurban campaign, IDDEF will process Qurban meat into canned food and deliver it to families in need in Gaza.

The Federation of Associations that Value Humanity (IDDEF) is preparing to deliver Qurban donations entrusted for families in Gaza through a safe and sustainable method as part of its 2026 Udhiya / Qurban organization. For families in Gaza who continue to struggle under extremely difficult conditions, Qurban meat will be processed into canned food and delivered to the region. IDDEF successfully implemented the same canned Qurban meat model during its Gaza Qurban organizations in 2024 and 2025, ensuring that the donations reached those in need.

Under the Qurban program, donated shares will be slaughtered in India in accordance with Islamic principles. The meat will then be transported to Egypt as chilled carcass meat by sea. At integrated meat processing facilities, it will be hygienically processed and packaged into long-lasting canned meat.

The prepared canned meat will be transported into Gaza through the Rafah Border Crossing and distributed to families in need. This method aims not only to ensure the safe delivery of the meat but also to preserve it for extended periods, allowing assistance to reach a greater number of beneficiaries.

IDDEF continues to fulfill Qurban trusts with great care while developing sustainable solutions in response to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Through canned Qurban meat, the organization seeks to make a meaningful contribution to meeting the essential food needs of families living in the region.
