The Federation of Associations That Value Humanity (IDDEF) successfully carried out its 2025 overseas Wajib Qurban campaign by proxy. A total of 80,018 shares were slaughtered across 309 regions in 47 countries throughout Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Balkans, and Qurban meat was distributed to 3,130,000 impoverished individuals.
Adhering strictly to Islamic guidelines, IDDEF ensured the Qurbans were slaughtered and distributed directly on site. For Gaza, 12,600 large livestock shares were processed, resulting in 264,600 cans of meat, each weighing 800 grams, which will be delivered to those in need.
IDDEF ensured that entrusted Qurbans reached genuine beneficiaries living in refugee camps, drought- and famine-affected areas, remote villages, and war zones—especially in countries like Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria—alongside the special Gaza Qurban operation.
All Qurban sacrifices were recorded on video, and the meat was delivered to pre-identified impoverished families. Upon completion of the process, donors received message notifications detailing in which country and region their Qurbans were carried out.
As part of the Qurban operations, IDDEF teams also visited villages, madrasas, and orphanages in the countries they traveled to. Children were given Eid clothes, toys, balloons, and candy—spreading the happiness of Eid to every corner reached.
