As part of our humanitarian efforts under the theme "Ramadan Appeal," we are reaching out to those in need across 56 countries and 310 regions. Our primary goal is to spread education to every corner of the Islamic world through the madrasas, mosques, and masjids we have built in Africa, Asia, and the Balkans. Through the aid efforts we carry out during the blessed month of Ramadan, we share in the mercy and blessings of this sacred time with our brothers and sisters.
In the regions where we conduct educational activities, a total of 100 educational centers and 55 madrasas serve as learning hubs, where 466 teachers guide more than 12,000 students in their educational journey. With the arrival of Ramadan, these centers of knowledge become even more vibrant, hosting iftar and suhoor gatherings. Throughout the year, students engage in the study of the Qur’an, Sharia sciences, and other subjects, while during the holy month, Qur’an recitations increase significantly. Tarawih prayers are performed in congregation at mosques and madrasas, as students and the local community come together to experience the spiritual tranquility and blessings of Ramadan.
At the Mahmud Ustaosmanoğlu Complex in Guinea, a West African country, we prepare and distribute iftar meals for 3,000 people daily. While tarawih prayers are held at the Abdülhamid II Mosque within the complex, students and local Muslims break their fast together at iftar tables set up in the courtyard.
By embracing the spirit of sharing in Ramadan, we continue to provide food aid, organize iftar gatherings, and support educational activities. We ensure that zakat donations reach poor and orphaned students receiving Islamic education in our madrasas, as well as needy Muslim communities in the region.
