90 Tons of Food Aid from IDDEF to Oppressed Rohingya Families

90 Tons of Food Aid from IDDEF to Oppressed Rohingya Families
The Federation of the Associations that Value Humanity (IDDEF) has delivered 90 tons of food aid to Rohingya refugee families in Bangladesh.

IDDEF teams who traveled to Bangladesh delivered the food packages—loaded onto ships from the city of Chittagong—to Bhasan Char Island. The aid boxes, transported across the island by pickup trucks and tractors, were handed over one by one to Rohingya refugee families.

In a statement from IDDEF: “Our Rohingya brothers and sisters are struggling with hunger, deprivation, and despair in refugee camps in Bangladesh. We transported food packages to our brothers and sisters fighting to survive on Bhasan Char Island. Distributed by pickup trucks and tractors, these packages were delivered to the very doorsteps of Rohingya families. Containing basic necessities—from rice to oil, from flour to dates—these parcels are of vital importance for thousands of families living in the camps. With your support, we completed the distribution of 90 tons of food to Arakan, reaching thousands of families with provisions.”
