Since October 7, 2023, the Federation of Associations that Value Humanity (IDDEF), which has never left Gaza alone, has further intensified its humanitarian aid efforts in the region as winter conditions worsen. Sending truckloads of aid to the region every week, IDDEF has most recently dispatched 8 trucks loaded with food parcels, hygiene supplies, blankets and flour to be delivered to families in Gaza.

In a statement made by IDDEF, it was noted that the aid packages prepared one by one for Gazan families at the logistics warehouse in Cairo, Egypt, were loaded onto trucks and sent to Gaza through the Rafah Border Crossing. The statement included the following:

“We deliver the food parcels and essential supplies prepared for our Gazan brothers and sisters to Gaza through our trucks via the Rafah Border Crossing. In each truckload, there is a mother’s prayer, a child’s hope, a family’s struggle to hold on to life again. Our food and flour aid will help ease hunger, hygiene kits will help prevent diseases, and blankets and shelter supplies will provide protection during cold nights. We thank all benefactors who support Gaza.”
IDDEF emphasized that as winter intensifies, families in Gaza are struggling against cold, hunger, and disease, and stated that humanitarian aid efforts will continue without interruption.
Benefactors who wish to support the families in need in Gaza can donate via www.iddef.org, by sending FAST/EFT/wire transfers to the relevant account numbers, by visiting IDDEF’s offices in various cities and districts across Türkiye, or by calling the call center at 0212 621 00 65.
